Warm Feet, Cold Beer!

Warm Feet, Cold Beer!

Ye Old Tap Room, 14915 Charlevoix, Detroit
Monday, February 3, 2014, 5:00PM until 9:00PM

The coat drive last week was a huge success! But the next cold wave is on its way, and there still is a great need for boots and warm socks, and while we’re at it, let’s throw in some thermal underwear! Bring new or gently used items. They will go to immediate neighbors in need, patients at St. John’s hospital, and local students Pre-K through high school in the east side of Detroit.

There will also be a donation box at Ye Olde Tap Room Superbowl Sunday.

Thank You Suzanne Scoville for Helping to Make CSV Such a Great Place to Live!

We would like to thank our neighbor Suzanne Scoville for helping to make Cornerstone Village such a great place to live.

As we mentioned before, the benefit for CSV that she put on at her bed and breakfast “I’m Dreaming of a (No) Blight Christmas” was a great success.

She has taken it upon herself to hold an event collecting coats for people in the neighborhood, which she then distributed. (Warm Coats and Cold Beer)

Now she is planning an event called, “Warm Feet, Cold Beer” Please see the invite above and help out if you can.
